1. Homemade Pasta
Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 large eggs
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional)
Instructions:
- On a clean surface, make a mound with the flour. Create a well in the center and crack the eggs into it.
- Add salt and olive oil (if using) to the eggs.
- Using a fork, slowly whisk the eggs, gradually incorporating the flour from the edges.

2. Basic Crepes
Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup milk
- ½ cup water
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
Instructions:
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour and eggs.
- Gradually add in milk and water, stirring to combine.
- Add salt and melted butter, and beat the mixture until smooth.
- Heat a lightly greased frying pan over medium-high heat. Pour about ¼ cup of batter into the pan and tilt the pan in a circular motion to coat the surface.
- Cook the crepe for about 2 minutes until the bottom is light brown. Flip and cook the other side for another minute.
- Serve with your favorite fillings, such as fruit, Nutella, or whipped cream.
3. Tempura Batter
Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup cold water (preferably ice water)
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- Pinch of salt
Instructions:
- In a bowl, lightly beat the egg. Add the ice-cold water and mix gently.
- Sift the flour, baking powder, and salt into the egg mixture.
- Stir very gently, just until the flour is combined. The batter should remain lumpy and not overmixed.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or large saucepan to 350°F (175°C).
- Dip vegetables, shrimp, or other ingredients into the batter and fry in the hot oil until crispy and golden.
- Drain on paper towels and serve immediately with dipping sauce.
